2009-10 Cycling Coaches
David Grigsby
Head Coach - 3rd Season

Coach David Grigsby begins his second full season in 2009-10 after taking over the cycling program in January, 2008.

Grigsby led the Blue Raiders to an overall seventh place finish in the final Division I rankings in 2008-09. The rankings combine all four disciplines in collegiate racing.

He led the Blue Raiders to a third place finish at the cyclo-cross national championships and a fourth place finish at the mountain bike nationals.

Following last season's results, Grigsby has recruited a stellar second class to build on last season's success in what he considers his most talented and complete squad since coming to Lindsey Wilson.

Grigsby is a USA Cycling certified Elite (Level 1) coach and is one of the few power certified cycling coaches in the United States.

The Lindsey Wilson position is his first at the collegiate ranks. Grigsby has more than 10 years experience coaching at the professional level including founding everybodysbikecoach.com, an Internet based cycling coaching service.

Grigsby coached Tiago Depaula, one of 20 athletes he trains, to the 2007 World Championships Criterium in Las Vegas.

In addition to his coaching, Grigsby is a former competitor at the Bluegrass State Games and in BMX races throughout the United States.
