Coach Chris Starks begins his sixth season in 2009-10 at the helm of the Lindsey Wilson College men's golf program.

Starks has led the Blue Raiders to a pair of NAIA National Championships appearances, including a program-best 15th place finish in 2007.

He is a two-time NAIA Region XI Men's Golf Coach of the Year.

Over his six seasons, Starks has guided the Blue Raiders to 17 tournament wins, including the 2006 and 2007 NAIA Region XI Championships. He led the Blue Raiders to the program's low team round on Oct. 6, 2007, as the team shot a 9-under par 279 at the Old Bridge Fall Invitational.

Eleven Blue Raiders have earned All Mid-South Conference honors under Starks, including a pair of MSC Players of the Year.

In addition to being the men's golf coach, Starks is also the men's varsity basketball assistant and the head junior varsity basketball coach.

Starks entered the coaching ranks after an outstanding basketball career at McPherson (Kan.) College, where he was a unanimous selection to the all-district and all-conference teams during his senior season.

Starks and his wife, Tori, have two children, Savannah and Brice.
