CENTERVILLE, Ohio -- The Lindsey Wilson College bowling team finished 22nd out of 31 teams this weekend at the Orange and Black Tournament held in Centerville, Ohio.
The Blue Raiders scored 8,080 points for the tournament. Western Illinois University (8,812 points), who advanced to the final eight-team single elimination tournament, was the tournament champions.
Lindsey Wilson junior Dustin Beard led the Blue Raiders with 1,107 total pins in six games during the individual portion of the tournament, good for 62nd place. Beard scored a game-high 207.
Junior Michael Mynear tallied 1,060 pins for 83rd and bowled a team-high game of 212. Sophomore Jake Alexander totaled 1,050 pins for an 86th place finish.
LWC junior Jeff Bivins (1,044 pins) and senior Jonathon Wood (974) finished 90th and 105th respectively.
Vincennes (Ind.) University's Steve Lemke won the individual event with 1,332 pins. Lemke had a high-game of 245.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at the National Team Match Games on November 25-26 in St. Louis, Missouri.
