HAZARD, Ky. -- Senior Carnell Learmond scored four goals as the Lindsey Wilson College men's soccer team beat host Pikeville College 6-0 on Saturday.

The top-ranked Blue Raiders improve to 2-0 on the season and 1-0 in the Mid-South Conference. Pikeville falls to 0-1 on the season.

Sophomore Lwandiso Gonya opened the game with back-to-back goals in the first half.

Gonya scored in the 14th minute off freshman Victor Cortez's first career assist. Gonya added his third goal of the season in the 31st minute off junior Samuel Asante's assist to give the Blue Raiders the 2-0 lead.

Learmond added a pair of goals prior to the break to give Lindsey Wilson a 4-0 lead at halftime.

Senior Zetroy Robertson assisted on Learmond's first goal in the 35th minute before Learmond scored an unassisted goal in the 41st minute.

In the second period, Learmond and Robertson connected on the final two goals of the game in the 56th and 71st minutes en route to the 6-0 win.

Lindsey Wilson sophomore goalkeeper Greg Hartley earned his first career shutout with a pair of saves in the win.

The Blue Raiders completed the game out-shooting the Bears 28-3 for the match.
