COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College men's track & field coach Edwin Hagans signed Josh Kles from Jefferson High School in Jefferson, Ga., to an NAIA scholarship, the school announced on Thursday.

Kles recently finished first in both the shot put and discus events at the Georgia Olympics on May 13. Kles set a personal record in both categories with a throw of 56-feet and 2.5 inches in the shot put and 158-2 in the discus.

On June 5, Kles placed first in the shot put at the United States Association of Track & Field Georgia Championships with an effort of 55-7.

Kles also took first in the shot put and discus events at the Region Eight Championships in Georgia to add to his already decorated year.
