COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College swimming coach Alicia Kemnitz signed B.J. Drennan of Scott Co. (Ky.) High School to an NAIA Scholarship, the school announced on Thursday.

Drennan holds school records with three relay teams at Scott Co., including the 200-yard medley relay, 200-freestyle relay and 400-free relay.

As a varsity swimmer for the Cardinals since the seventh grade, Drennan is a four-time state-meet qualifier. Drennan was named to the All-Region team in both 2009 and 2008.

Drennan lists his favorite moment as a prep swimmer as when his 200-medley relay team broke the Scott Co. school record.

"I love Lindsey Wilson as a college already," Drennan said. "I really look forward to being part of the swim team during its start. Combining that chance with having all the academics I want makes it a perfect fit."
