COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2010 Women's Golf All-America teams on Friday and three Lindsey Wilson College student-athletes were honored.

Seniors Krista Burton and Jessica Smith earned first-team honors, while junior Chelsey Key was an honorable-mention selection.

Key is a first-time All-American, while Burton earns her fourth straight selection and third overall first-team honor. Smith earns her second All-American award after also being named to the first team after the 2007-08 season.

Smith led the Blue Raiders at the 2010 NAIA National Championship, finishing 13th in the 128-woman field after shooting a four-day total of 312 (79-76-78-79). The senior sank nine birdies through 72 holes, including two in the final round en route to making the all-tournament team.

Key concluded the championship in a tie for 50th place with a total score of 326 (90-80-78-78), while Burton tied for 60th place with a 331 (81-84-83-83).

As a team, Lindsey Wilson finished sixth at the championship with a four-round team total of 1,278 (322-316-318-322) to finish in the top-10 for the fourth consecutive year.

Players are selected by the All-America Committee. Sixteen student-athletes earned First-Team accolades and 15 others were named honorable mentions.
