A trio of Blue Raider race walkers compete for a national title on Friday in Marion, Ind.
Women's Outdoor Track & Field - Fri, May 28, 2010
MARION, Ind. -- Sherria Hester made the most of her opportunity, giving the Lindsey Wilson College women's track & field team a qualifier for Friday's semifinals at the Women's NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships on Thursday at the Outdoor Sports Complex.
Hester finished the preliminaries of the 400-meter dash with a time of 58.77 seconds to advance to the semifinals which are scheduled during session six on Friday.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at the NAIA Championships on Friday morning with the 5,000-meter race walk on the schedule. Megan Furnish, Amanda Johnson and Chelsea Conway are all competing in the race walk for the Blue Raiders.
