COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College head volleyball coach Heather Collins signed Emily Meeks from Caldwell Co. High School (Ky.) to an NAIA Scholarship, the school announced on Monday.

Meeks was a five-sport standout for Caldwell Co., playing as a middle hitter for the school's volleyball team and a starting forward for girls basketball. Meeks also contributed to the softball, cross country and track & field programs.

The Princeton, Ky., native, ended her senior volleyball season with 185 kills with a 33.2 hitting percentage, while leading Caldwell Co. to a 33-4 record. Meeks also sent back 49 blocks during her senior campaign, including 23 solo blocks and 26 assists.

After leading the Lady Tigers to the Region Two Championship, Meeks was named the Kentucky Volleyball Coaches Association Region Two Player of the Year and earned a spot on the region's All-Tournament Team.

On the basketball court, Meeks was named one of the preseason top-eight players in the second region by the Lexington Herald Leader and was selected to play for the Kentucky Senior All-Star Team.
