LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College track & field team took part in the Cardinal Twilight Classic at the University of Louisville on Friday for one last chance to qualify for the NAIA National Championships.

Ruth Olson highlighted the women's results, breaking her own school record in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.99 seconds to take 14th place overall. Distance specialist Jairus Kipkemoi led the men's entries with a first-place finish in the 5000-meter run with a season best time of 14 minutes and 49.38 seconds.

Roscoe Moore turned in a pair of top-10 finishes in the sprint races. Moore took seventh place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.91 seconds and took eighth place in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.00 seconds.

Sherria Hester rounded out the women's performances with a fifth place showing in the 400-meter dash with a time of 58.35 seconds.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at the NAIA National Championships on May 25-29 in Edwardsville, Ill.
