Men's tennis begins the NAIA Qualifyinf Tournament in the finals on Friday in Georgetown, Ky.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- As the highest nationally-ranked team between the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champion Brescia (Ky.) University and Ohio Dominican University, the 12th ranked Lindsey Wilson College men's tennis team receives a bye to open play in the finals of the NAIA Qualifying Tournament on Friday in Georgetown, Ky.

Brescia and Ohio Dominican open the tournament at 11 a.m. CT with the winner advancing to face the Blue Raiders in the finals at 3:30 p.m. The winner of the event earns an automatic bid to the NAIA National Championship on May 18-22 in Mobile, Ala.

Lindsey Wilson beat Brescia 7-1 earlier in the season on March 26, but has not faced Ohio Dominican this season.

The Blue Raiders cruised to the Mid-South Conference Tournament Championship on April 22 with shutout wins against the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) (5-0) and Campbellsville (Ky.) University (6-0).

Lindsey Wilson recorded a perfect 3-0 record in conference play and finished 15-3 overall, including a win in 13 straight matches.
