COLUMBIA, Ky. -- A 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles by Antoine Pourin broke a 4-4 tie to give the Lindsey Wilson College men's tennis team a 5-4 win against Martin Methodist (Tenn.) College on Saturday at the Lindsey Wilson Tennis Courts.
Martin Methodist jumped ahead 1-0 early with a win at No. 1 doubles before the Blue Raiders were able to take two straight points at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.
Freddy Luciani took care of business in his No. 1 singles match 6-3, 6-4 against Vinicius Santos, while Andre Santos won at No. 3 singles for Lindsey Wilson 6-0, 6-2 against Renato Castro.
Martin Methodist earned its other three points with wins at No. 2, No. 4 and No. 6 singles.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on April 22-24 at the Mid-South Conference Tournament in Georgetown, Ky.
