RICHMOND, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's track & field team represented itself well at the Eastern Kentucky University Open, registering four top-five finishes on Friday.

Kristina Wimsatt posted the highest finish for the Blue Raiders, using a 5.38-meter leap in the long jump to take third place.

Sprinter Sherria Hester crossed the line in fourth place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 58.47 seconds, while Elizabeth Amponsah also tallied a fourth-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 10.94 meters.

The Blue Raiders 4X100 relay team finished in fifth place with a time of 49.62 seconds.

Long-distance runner Alicia Mattingly finished in the top 20 in the 800- and 1,500-meter run. Mattingly crossed in 17th place in the 800 with a time of 2 minutes and 38.71 seconds and took 18th place in the 1,500 with a time of 5:28.42.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 2 p.m. CT on April 23-24 at the Mid-South Conference Championships in Rio Grande, Ohio.
