Trina Slapeka earns second straight MSC weekly award on Monday.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College's Trina Slapeka is the Mid-South Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Slapeka won a pair of singles matches and paired with Jessica Weyreuter to win a pair of doubles matches on the week. The award is Slapeka's second straight conference honor.
The Jurmala, Latvia, native won in straight sets in every singles and doubles match playing as the Blue Raiders' top seed. Slapeka tallied a 6-0, 6-0 win over Cumberland (Tenn.) University's No. 1 seed and joined Weyreuter to take the doubles' win 8-2.
Against Bethel (Tenn.) University, Slapeka won 6-2, 6-1 in singles and 9-8 (5) in doubles.
Lindsey Wilson improved to 7-4 overall with last week's wins.
