BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's tennis team took apart NCAA Division I opponent Western Kentucky University 6-1 on Saturday.

Playing NCAA rules, the Blue Raiders swept all three doubles matches to earn the single doubles point.

The strong play continued in singles as all but one Lindsey Wilson player - No. 6 seed Lindsey Sheene - won their matches. Still, Sheene made a strong push for the shutout with a close 7-5, 5-7 loss. The teams agreed to play a tie breaker for the deciding third set.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 4 p.m. CT on April 2 against Bethel (Tenn.) College in Georgetown, Ky.
