Basketball looks to finish off the week 2-0 at the University of the Cumberlands on Saturday.

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's and women's basketball teams both won at home on Thursday against University of Rio Grande (Ohio) and look to extend their winning ways at the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) on Saturday at the O. Wayne Rollins Center.

Tip-off for the women's game is set for 1 p.m. CT, with the men slated for a 3 p.m. start.

The Lindsey Wilson men's team topped Rio Grande 75-74 on Thursday after Joshua Cherry's free throw in the game's final seconds put the Blue Raiders on top. Each team held a substantial lead in the game, with Lindsey Wilson up by 12 points in the first half and the Redstorm taking a 11-point lead in the second half.

The women had an easier time against Rio Grande, topping 90 points for just the second time this season in the 91-69 win. Sierra Rambert paced the Blue Raiders with 19 points, while Kasey Litzinger came off the bench to score 18 points, hitting four 3-pointers.

Back on Jan. 23, Cumberlands split its games against Lindsey Wilson at Biggers Sports Center. The Blue Raider women lost 60-51, while the men won 76-73 behind 18 points and six rebounds from Andrija Tintor.
