Men's soccer places three players on the NAIA All-American teams.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Three men's soccer players from Lindsey Wilson College were selected as All-Americans by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), the national office announced on Dec. 5. Included in the trio were two first-team choices.

Freshmen Lebogang Moloto and Chris Ochieng were both named first team All-Americans, while sophomore defender Chris Williams was a second-team selection.

Ochieng paced the national champion Blue Raiders in scoring with 39 points on 14 goals and 11 assists. The newcomer's points ranked 14th in the NAIA, while his assist total ranked 19th in the country.

Moloto was named the Most Outstanding Offensive Player at the national tournament and earned a spot on the all-tournament team. The Polokwane, South Africa native scored eight goals and dished out five assists on the season for 21 points. Four of Moloto's goals were game winners.

Williams led a defense that allowed 11 goals on the season, including just one during the NAIA National Championship. The sophomore was named the Most Valuable Defensive Player of the tournament.

Lindsey Wilson won its eighth NAIA National Championship with a 1-0 win against The Master's (Calif.) College on Dec. 5.

The title is the first for the Blue Raiders since 2005, while they have never lost in eight tries in the national championship game.

The Blue Raiders ended their season with a 20-2-1 record and as winners of 12 straight games in which they outscored their opponents 49-2, including 10 shutouts.
