CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Members of the Lindsey Wilson bowling team produced season high's individually at the Hoinke Bearcat Open over the weekend.

Arizona State University won the Open with a team average score of 1,067.67 and a grand total of 10,044 pins. Lindsey Wilson fell one member short of qualifying for team play, due to injuries.
Lindsey Wilson junior Edwin Martz led the Blue Raiders with a fourth place finish. Martz, a Madisonville, Kentucky, native, finished with a total of 2,016 pins and an average of 224.0 in nine games.

Senior Dustin Beard finished 33rd overall with a total of 1,891 pins. Beard, a Bowling Green, Kentucky, native, averaged 210.11, while bowling team best 277 in his first game.

Lindsey Wilson junior Jeff Bivins totaled 1,876 pins with an average of 208.44 for 41st place, while senior Michael Mynear finished 69th bowling a 201.44 average.

The Blue Raiders return to action January 20-21 at Eastland Lanes in Lexington, Kentucky, as they compete in the Eagle Classic hosted by Morehead State (Ky.) University.
